Miki Beautiful Sushi | Garden City

Miki Beautiful Sushi at the newly redeveloped Westfield Garden City is an elegant and sophisticated addition to the Centre. The finishes have been kept simple and clean with a very limited palette. Black wall panels provide a foil for the beautiful veined stone and the metal shimmering curtain gives the space real class.  Rather than create a closed store front, Miki Beautiful Sushi is open and inviting and the sculptural forms, from the stone benches to the floating drink fridges ensure that the store is visible yet subtle. Particular attention was placed in the design of the lighting, whom we utilised the services of a lighting consultant to ensure that we were best able to focus attention on the hero of the store, the sushi and nigiri displays. The store becomes a stage set, with all the elements coming together, the lighting, finishes, and flow of the design to highlight the food.
