Pure Envi at Kawana Shoppingworld on the Sunshine Coast is our latest shop design.
We won a number of projects in the redevelopment of the shopping centre and were approached to design a beauty salon for our new clients.

Open For Business
The openness to new ideas by our client made it a pleasure to work with them. Their brief was to give them the wow factor yet keep in mind the very tight budget they wanted us to work in. We believe that through effective design not only can design help attract the clientele necessary for any business to thrive but can also save them a lot of money on the fit out costs in the process.

Value Added
With shopping centre’s often rigorous but necessary design and fit out guidelines, it is often through the design process and working through the design with the client and the shopping centre does the true value of a designer can be understood. A good designer is able to ask the right questions to really understand the client’s customer demographics, provide the best design solutions and negotiate with the shopping centre to achieve an outcome that favours all. The designer’s fees to bring everything together, creating a store that attracts customers and is fitted out to budget can often be appreciated by Clients towards the end of the project. Shop design is much more than putting together a ‘quick set of drawings’.

Creative Juices
Every design we believe is a collaboration of many minds and people with different experiences coming together to create literally something from thin air. It takes many people from the designer, shopping centre’s retail designer manager, the client, the shop fitter, certifiers, the individual trades, to engineers and many others to create a shop.  After many years in the industry I am still amazed by the creative process and how everything comes together to bring the retail space into reality.

Envious Service
The Clients expressed their gratitude when I went to inspect the project after opening and felt like they received their ‘bang for buck’ in spades. All the finishes and fittings, from the wallpaper to the metal mirror frames and the chandelier came together to create the ambience but didn’t break the budget and goes to show that to kit out a shop on a kitten of a budget can happen with a lot of action mixed with creativity.
