The recent refit of Goldsteins Bakery & Pie Shop at Robina Town Centre has been an enormous success.
The new shopfront, branding, finishes and colour scheme has breathed new life into this once tired and drab shop.
I went in to photograph it and the manager of this store was very pleased with the new look. She has reported that response from patrons has been enormously positive. With a large elderly clientelle, we didn’t want to scare this core group of regulars away. The client heeded my advice that even the elderly want to experience their coffee and cake in a space that has a vibrant ambience.
We took a bit of a gamble in using colours which were not necessarily traditional bakery colours and it has paid off.
What we have created the sort of freshness that people of all ages enjoy.
Being elderly doesn’t necessary mean being old!
