If you want to take your better half somewhere special, or if you enjoy great food and are looking for that ultimate fine dining experience, you can’t go past Ioesco at Sanctuary Cove, our latest design project.
The project was commissioned by Sanctuary Cove on behalf of the client, Max Alfieri, who is one of the top restauranteurs on the Gold Coast. Jim Dartnell of Food Development International together with the shopfitter, Troy Brown of Altran were intricately involved from the outset of the project and ensured that the fitout was completed to a very tight schedule to open in time for the Boat Show at Sanctuary Cove.
We have created a number of dining experiences, from marble banquet tables and lounge seating set upon goat’s hair carpet floor inset and an illuminated wine display as a backdrop, to stool height dining at the bar and also a specially designed bench where you can see a spread of antipasto below your plate and a chef preparing these tasty morsels, to traditional table cloth table service.
We have created a unique ambience with the selection of finishes including sheer lustrous curtains, modern crystal chandeliers, specially imported tiles for the antipasto bar and back wall, and an intricate drinks bar constructed from individual panels of marble that retain the vein pattern of the original slab. Images fail to do this restaurant justice – you’ll have to go to Ioesco to experience it for yourself.
